Shamanic Princess Icons

I made Icons from another lesser known anime series called Shamanic Princess. It's rather surreal and kinda hard to describe. Basically these magic users come into our world to help their trapped friend, who is being held hostage by their own source of power/ultimate leader of their world. Okay, maybe not the best description, so you should look up some summaries online. Anyway, here are the icons:

Manga Recommendations for Halloween

It's finally Halloween, so I figured I recommend some nice horror mangas for the occasion.

Devilman by Go Nagai
This is a classic manga and not just for the horror genre. Demons threaten to take over the world, so the friends Akira and Ryo decide to fight them. To do so, Akira must become a Devilman, a human possessed by a demon but still keeping his human heart. Soon the countries of the world are thrown into chaos as nobody can trust anybody to not be secretly a demon.

Uzumaki by Junji Ito

A small town gets cursed by spirals. These range from attacking hair to students turning into snails and it only gets worse from there. Much worse...

Franken Fran by Katsuhisa Kigitsu

Fran is a Frankenstein monster type girl, who lives in a castle with all kinds of other monsters created by her master, the doctor. In his absence Fran takes over the business, performing all kinds of operations and other medical procedures for their clients. Too bad that most of the time it doesn't end well for them.

My two other recommendations are sadly not available on Manga Fox, but can be bought on Amazon.

No. 1 is a one-shot simply called Goth. It's a loosely connected collection of stories about killers. Our protagonists are a boy called Kitazawa, who's fascinated with killers and would love nothing more than see his fellow protagonist, a girl called Morino, be killed by one of them.

No. 2 is Mermaid Forest by Rumiko Takahashi of Ranma 1/2 and Inu Yasha fame. It's about 2 immortals called Yuta and Mana, who gained their immortality by eating the flesh of a mermaid. Now they try to find a way to become mortal again, so they can live a normal life.

I hope you'll like these recs and if you have any of your own, feel free to name them in the comments, I'm always on the lookout for new horror comics.
